During the assessment phase, the following assessment activities will be carried out:
- Assessment of current academic programs at the Palestinian partner universities in terms of its suitability for conferring graduates with sufficient skills and knowledge to clinical nutrition procedures, nutrition assessment, meal planning, nutrition care process, medical nutrition therapy, food analysis and uses of model and advanced equipment for nutritional assessment and food analysis.
- Assessment will be conducted on the current state of faculty members’ skills and practical clinical nutrition, experiences, skills and topics.
- Assessment of the nutrition service providers’ capabilities and procedures will also be carried out.
- All assessment activities will be carried out with supervision of EU experts in order to come up with recommendations to improve the existing state of targeted academic programs, staff skills, nutritional management procedures to meet EU standards.
